How Watching in Prayer works

From a prayer project to a prayer session.

Create a prayer project, add the prayer points and scriptures you want to return to, then pray by yourself or invite others to join you.

The full process

Four steps hold everything together.

A prayer project gives you the main goal. Prayer points make it specific. A prayer session helps you return and pray.

Step 01

Create a prayer project.

A prayer project is the main goal you want to focus on. It could be the salvation of your family, a weekly prayer watch with friends, or something you are praying about personally.

  • 1Give the project a clear name.
  • 2Choose whether it is for you or for a group.
  • 3Schedule a prayer watch, or start whenever you are ready.

Salvation of my family

For my father to know the Lord.

Scripture reference ROMANS 10:9
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart…”
Step 02

Add prayer points and Scripture.

Each prayer point is one specific thing you are praying for inside the project. Add a Scripture reference to each prayer point to ensure you are praying in line with the Word.

  • 1Keep each prayer point focused and clear.
  • 2Add the Scripture you are standing on.
  • 3Return to the same prayer points whenever you pray.
Step 03

Start a prayer session.

The app takes you through the prayer points one at a time and keeps the Scripture visible. You decide how long to stay before moving to the next prayer point.

Pray alone Move through each prayer point at your own pace.
Pray together Invite others. The host moves the session forward and everyone follows.
Step 04

Mark answered prayers.

When the Lord answers a prayer, mark the prayer point as answered. It remains recorded with its Scripture, notes, recordings, and prayer session history so you can remember what the Lord has done.

  • 1The prayer point is recorded as answered.
  • 2Its full prayer history remains with it.
  • 3You can look back on answered prayers at any time.
