About Watching in Prayer
Built to help you return to prayer.
My name is Ezer, and my wife is Vivian. We built Watching in Prayer to help people organise what they are praying for, pray with Scripture, and remember what the Lord has answered.
Why we built it
Prayer should be easier to return to.
Prayers can end up in different notebooks, messages, and conversations. Some are prayed once and then forgotten. Others need to be returned to regularly. We wanted one clear place for all of them.
Watching in Prayer lets you create prayer projects, add prayer points with Scripture references, and pray through them by yourself or with other people. The app gives you structure, but the prayer remains yours.
We also wanted answered prayers to remain visible. When you mark a prayer point as answered, it is recorded with its history so you can look back and remember what the Lord has done.
A prayer I nearly missed
I was already walking in the answer.
Before I got married, I asked the Lord for financial provision. I specifically prayed for a card I could use anywhere, with money placed on it regularly.
Later, the company I worked for gave us a card funded every month outside our salary. It took me time to realise that this was connected to the prayer I had made.
That experience stayed with me. Recording what we pray for helps us recognise an answer when it comes and remember the Lord’s faithfulness.
